Accommodation Guide for Clearing Applicants

Carmarthen Accommodation

We have University accommodation for first year students on all three of our campuses, and there is also a wide range of private accommodation available in Carmarthen, Swansea and Lampeter. See below for details of how to apply for accommodation during clearing for each of our campuses.

Swansea Campus

Students who are confirmed onto their courses during clearing should receive an email from the Accommodation Department automatically inviting them to apply online. If an email is not received then please call the main office number on 01792 482082 or email accommodation@uwtsd.ac.uk and a member of the team will assist you. Our office hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.00pm.

Both the A Level results day (Thursday 17th August) and Friday 18th August will just be application days where students will be given the opportunity to apply for a place. No room allocations will take place on these days meaning no offers of rooms will be made to students. This process will commence Saturday 19th August. The Accommodation Team at the University will endeavour to respond to student applications as quickly as possible and will send out responses by email to let you know if your application has been successful.

In the event that you are not successful then you will be sent information on all the alternative accommodation options in the city of Swansea and have the opportunity to discuss this with the staff at the University.
