International Development, Humanitarianism & Law
Why Study International Development, Humanitiarianism & Law at UWTSD?
UWTSD’s International Development, Humanitarianism and Law degree programmes are unique in their offering, as they encompass three topics – International Development, Humanitarianism, and Law - that will equip each student with a comprehensive understanding, knowledge and, crucially, the skills to face the major global challenges of the 21st century.
Increasingly organisations within the charitable and NGO sector are seeking employees who have a strong understanding and experience of the sector. With this in mind, UWTSD’s suite of International Development programmes provide both theoretical and practical experience. There is also an opportunity for placements overseas, or with relevant development organisations at home, which will enable students to see first hand how development NGOs work.
If you want to make a positive difference to the world around you, and are considering a career in the charitable or NGO sector, take a look at our BA International Development, Humanitarianism and Law.
