Making an application

You can apply for both tuition and student maintenance funding support during your time as a UWTSD student.

If you are seeking this support, you must complete your student finance application to Student Finance England as soon as you are successful in obtaining a place at the Birmingham Campus.

Students seeking funding support from Student Finance England are required to have a completed application no less than one month before their course start date.

As the funding applicant, it is your responsibility to ensure you maintain regular and prompt communication with Student Finance England regarding your application. All communication regarding your application must be directed to Student Finance England, and cannot be processed by the University. Any application errors must be corrected at the earliest possible stage, as Student Finance England can take up to 6 weeks for corrections to be processed.

  • Bank account number and sort code

  • Household income (make sure this is accurate - your funding could be stopped if it is found to be incorrect)
