Key Information

Entry Criteria

The programmes usually require students to have achieved 32 UCAS points.

Whilst grades are important, our offers are not solely based on academic results. We are interested in creative people that demonstrate a strong commitment to this subject area and so welcome applications from individuals from a wide range of backgrounds.

To assess your suitability for your chosen course we arrange interviews for all applicants at which your skills, achievements and life experience will be considered as well as your qualifications, these are held both virtually and at campus.

Career Opportunities

Our programmes are designed to produce graduates with both a strong academic understanding and practical skills fit for the industry.

In addition, on successful completion of this course, graduates can progress on to the BA International Hotel Management.

Additional Costs

It is essential that all students have access to a laptop or desktop device for online learning and suitable width broadband.

During this degree, students will have the opportunity to attend several field trips within the UK and abroad. We attempt to keep the costs of field trips as low as possible and many are significantly subsidised by the University.

Costs to students for UK trips are no more than £100 during the academic year. For overseas trips we aim to keep the cost below £500, and attendance on these will be optional.

For field trips abroad, students will have the opportunity to pay for them in staged payments to lessen the financial burden. We normally expect the final payment for a field trip to be made four weeks prior to the field trips taking place.

Student Quotes

“We have had interesting lectures with practical application on assignment related tasks. We always have been taught, supported, guided, encouraged, and evaluated by our tutors; where guests from the industry who had shared their life experiences, were invited."

“During my last term in college, I have been enriched in my knowledge by new useful information, skills, and experience. I have practised critical understanding of different subject areas, related concepts and had the opportunity to demonstrate acquired knowledge through participation in solving tasks, answering questions, expressing my opinions during classes, writing assignments, and delivering presentations.”

“I have learned so much in my classes through a great mix of listening, speaking and practical learning activities within a very safe and supportive learning environment. Sometimes as a student you feel pushed to learn and try out new competencies, feeling safe and supported in doing so I gained valuable feedback for all of us to succeed."

“Our tutors have incredible gifts for teaching, the classes seem like play but there is serious learning going on, their methods are great, very clear and concise. Thank you, for all the knowledge I achieved from you all, it was a wonderful journey!”
