I:Ganu

I:Ganu is a music and singing workshop, designed to develop Welsh as a second language in primary schools for Year 5 & Year 6 pupils. Children will have the opportunity to write, record and create a music video of their original songs, through the medium of Welsh. The initiative aims to promote the Welsh language to contribute towards the Welsh Government's aim of having 1 million Welsh speakers by 2050.

I:Ganu includes the following highlights, and is delivered in school:

• Workshop on the Welsh language
• Write original songs in Welsh
• Music workshop
• Record the songs professionally
• Digital copies of their brand new songs
