Evening and Flexible Study
The Early Years team has a successful reputation for delivering high quality higher education. The two-year fast-track BA (Hons) Early Years Education and Care: Early Years Practitioner Status and BA (Hons) Early Years Education and Care programmes are designed for those already working in the childcare and education sector. The programmes are studied in two years and delivered in evenings and some Saturdays.
Evening Programmes for those already working with children and families
The programmes have been developed to provide opportunities for learning about all aspects of young children’s education and care whilst remaining in work. The programme gives you opportunities to link your own practical activities and experiences in the work environment to theories relating to children’s education and care.
You will take part in group discussions, workshops, study visits as well as lectures in order to develop your knowledge and understanding of a range of relevant topics. There is an emphasis on hands-on learning in order to support your understanding of the links between theory and practice within the early years.
