#FromHigherEdToHired - Where could it take you?
When it comes to impact, we've got a pretty good track record. We're the UK's No.1 for graduate business survival (HEBCIS 2020/21), which means we've successfully supported graduate start-ups to become thriving businesses.
We've also got a long-standing global reputation for enterprise and entrepreneurship – having advised the United Nations and European Commission through our International Institute for Creative Entrepreneurial Development.
What's more, we know your innovations have the potential to make a real difference. For example, our Assistive Technologies Innovation Centre (ATiC) has been working with Master's student and UWTSD Product Design graduate Adam Higgins as he develops his range of Animal Magic! PreMedPrep products are aimed at preparing children in advance for blood tests, heart and temperature examinations, and the use of nebulisers for medication intake.
We embed employability in our courses and provide a variety of resources, support and opportunities to help you unlock your potential.
Listening to students’ ambitions, we have worked with employers to identify the core competencies demanded of new employees, analysed the skills required of entrepreneurs and actively addressed digital transformation.
We are proud of our graduates’ successes and share stories under #FromHigherEdToHired. Choose to study with us, and we look forward to hearing yours.
95% of graduates were in employment and/or further study, due to start a new job or further study, or doing other activities such as caring for someone, 15 months after the end of their course - HESA Graduate Outcomes data 2019/20 survey.
