Engineering Degree Apprenticeships

Cogs

The Engineering Apprenticeship programmes have been developed in collaboration with employers to ensure they meet current career progression needs to match industry requirements.

This innovative programme will help apprentices develop their professional and technical skills through a combination of University study and work based learning.

A degree apprenticeship starts at Level 4 (HNC), however relevant previous experience and qualifications will be taken into account to ensure that you enter the programme at the correct level, whether this be at Level 4, 5 or 6.

Courses start in September each year and are run over an extended academic year, studying 42 weeks of the year, undertaken on a day-release basis (generally 1-7pm on a Friday to fit with the working week) at our Swansea Bay campus.

There are seven pathways available funded by the Welsh Government through HEFCW as part of the Apprenticeship Framework for Wales (FR05034).

Some of these programmes have been recognised and accredited by IMechE and The Engineering Council
