About:

My library career started in 1984, when I worked for the West Glamorgan County Council Schools Library Service.  We supported all the schools in the area with a variety of materials, including books and artifacts.  In 1987 I began working in the Finance Office at the then West Glamorgan Institute of Higher Education (now UWTSD).  After having my second child I was appointed as one of the first Saturday workers in the library (1993) and after 25 years I still thoroughly enjoy working here, interacting with the students and staff alike.  I was appointed to my current position in 2017.  I am pleased to have been a member of the Library Relocation Team, organising the move of the Owen and Townhill libraries to our new home in Y Fforwm, SA1.

Outside of work I am a keen traveller and try to visit as many new destinations as I can during the year.
