UWTSD hosts its annual Christmas Fayre in Lampeter

The University of Wales Trinity Saint David will host its annual Christmas Fayre on its Lampeter campus later this month.

On Saturday, November 25th, craftspeople, food producers and artists from across West Wales will gather in Lampeter to sell their produce at this festive event.

People of all ages are welcome to attend with children in for a special treat as they also get to meet Father Christmas.

The event starts at midday and is this year being opened by Ceredigion MP, Ben Lake.

“We are really looking forward to this year’s Christmas Fayre – it promises to be a great community event ” says Dr Jeremy Smith, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Performance at UWTSD.

“The Lampeter Christmas Fayre is now a firm favourite in the University calendar and offers a fantastic opportunity to bring together the university staff and students as well as hundreds of visitors from the local area.  It’s a also a great opportunity for local producers and artists to exhibit and sell their work – and for us as a University to show them our continued support.”

During the event, visitors will be entertained by Côr Cwmann and will also be able to help raise funds for local charities by taking part in the raffle.

If you’re a local producer and are interested in booking a stall at the fair, please contact lampeterevents@uwtsd.ac.uk for further information.
