I didn’t get the grades I was expecting and haven’t been accepted by my first or insurance choice universities – what do I do?

Firstly, don’t panic!  Check your UCAS Track and if you are eligible for clearing you can look for another course. Check out the list of courses we have available in clearing and give us a call on 0300 323 1828 to find out if we are able to offer you a place.

UWTSD is my first choice but I haven’t achieved the grades I was expecting. What do I do?

Firstly, please Log In to UCAS Track to check your status.  Occasionally we are able to accept students who don’t quite achieve the grades they are hoping for, or we are able to make a ‘changed course offer’ which means we can offer you a place on an alternative course.  If your status shows as ‘unconditional’ your place is confirmed, congratulations!  If you are unsure what your status means or have questions, please call us on 0300 323 1828.

I haven’t applied to university yet. Is it too late?

It’s not too late to apply, please contact us on 0300 323 1828 to find out if there are places available on your preferred course, and our team will guide you through the process of applying via UCAS during clearing.

Can I visit the university?

Yes, we have clearing open days on all three campuses on Saturday 18th August.  To find out more and book your place click here

I’ve accepted a Clearing course offer from UWTSD. Will I be able to find accommodation?

Yes, as well as University accommodation where we often have places still available for clearing applicants there are a wide range of private halls and privately rented accommodation options near our campuses so there are plenty of choices.  Check out our accommodation pages for full details.

Where can I find information about fees and finance?

Our standard undergraduate tuition fees for 2018/19 are £9,000, and living costs at UWTSD campuses are low compared to many other areas of the UK.  We also have a range of bursaries available.

Visit our Student Finance pages for full details and for contact information if you’d like to ask specific questions.

Where can I find out more about Fresher’s Fortnight and other welcome activities?

Are there any groups that I can join to help me meet people before the start of term?
