The Faculty of Architecture, Computing & Engineering is a STEM-based faculty located in the heart of Swansea.

Students from School of Applied Computing, School of Engineering and School of Architecture, Built & Natural Environment will present their undergraduate research at an annual exhibition at the end of their course. The exhibition will be held on Friday 18th May in the Dylan Thomas Centre in Swansea at 5.30pm. It is free of charge and all are welcome to attend.

Professor Michael Fernando is the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Computing and Engineering. He said: “The key feature of the faculty is the innovative curriculum design that places student employment at its core. All programmes are linked with local and regional industries that provides an excellent student experience through hands-on learning environment. Our students co-create and co-design with industry and research partners. This approach helps our students to be industry-ready, global leaders and professionals in their field.”

The exhibition is an annual event that gives students the opportunity to present the innovative research that is conducted by the faculty. Last year’s event saw employers from a wide range of industries attending to meet with students and discuss their research and findings. Many employers take on UWTSD students before graduation, recognising that they have the right skills to hit the ground running.

The Faculty of Architecture, Computing and Engineering (FACE) is a multidisciplinary faculty, covering architecture, automotive and motorsport engineering, construction, computing, electronics, environmental management, logistics, mechanical and manufacturing engineering.
