Launch of Creative Carmarthenshire at the Celtic Media Festival.

UWTSD will official launch Creative Carmarthenshire – a new professional network that will bring together the region’s creative and digital practitioners - at a special breakfast event at Y Ffwrnes, Llanelli at 8.30am on Thursday, May 3rd.

The network is part of a wider engagement project linked to Canolfan S4C Yr Egin and is funded through the Welsh Government Rural Communities - Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government.

The launch will also feature a session on New Markets and will ask the question: “How does a  producer in Wales create content for the international market? What are the challenges to overcome?”

In the company of drama producers Roger Williams (Bang); Ed Talfan (Craith), and S4C Drama Commissioner Gethin Scourfield , the panel will discuss their work and journey to international markets.

The event will take place in Y Ffwrnes, Llanelli on Thursday, May 3rd betweem 8.30am and 9.30am.  Breakfast will be served during the event.
