New role for Law & Public Services graduate at Cardiff Law firm

11.07.2018

Law and Public Services graduate Lauren Coles has been awarded a first class honours degree at a ceremony at Swansea's Brangwyn Hall and has a new full-time role as a Paralegal at Robertsons in Cardiff.

Lauren started her course at UWTSD whilst working part-time for the same firm. She said the balance of working and studying had been extremely beneficial to her. "It meant I could put my studies into practice whilst at work," she added.

"That experience of doing so in a live working environment was invaluable. I loved the course and also had a lot of support from my mentor and lecturer Bronwen Williams."

UWTSD's Bronwen Williams, Programme Director for Law and Public Services Portfolio said: "This has been a great achievement for Lauren and she thoroughly deserves to have been awarded a first. Lauren was able to strike the right balance between studying and working and now has a full time role in her chosed specialist field to look forward to."
