Once again, the results of this league table are extremely encouraging in relation to 'student satisfaction' and the University is particularly pleased with its top ten ranking in this category - securing an overall 8th position.  The Complete University Guide features 130 institutions across the UK and is based on ten measures including 'Student Satisfaction', 'Student and Staff Ratio'; 'Graduate Prospects' and 'Completion and Spending on Student Facilities'.

At subject level, Art and Design gained a 21st overall position, an increase of 25 places.  Professor Ian Walsh, Dean of Swansea College of Art at UWTSD said:

"UWTSD Swansea College of Art is committed to maintaining a strong focus on delivering the very best experience for our students. All our staff are passionate about teaching and providing a supportive studio-based experience to all students across our art, design and media courses. We are delighted that this has been recognised by the Complete University Guide.”

Dr Mirjam Plantinga, the University's Associate Pro Vice Chancellor for Student Experience, said:

“The University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) welcomes the news that we have risen 13 places overall and have gained a joint 8th position for student satisfaction.  This latest league table confirms the results of last week’s Whatuni Student Choice Awards 2019 which saw the university win the main award in the ‘Courses and Lecturers’ category.  Our strong emphasis on personalised learning, small classes, student support and working together with our students in close partnership has been crucial to achieving these results.”
