The University of Wales Trinity Saint David’s historic Carmarthen campus will host the annual UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service) West Wales Higher Education exhibition on Tuesday 9 April 2019.

UCAS fair

Up to two thousand school pupils from across the West Wales region are expected to visit the campus to get a better picture of what higher education has to offer.  Over 80 Universities and Colleges from across the country will be represented at the event and a range of seminars will be available throughout the day.  Visitors will be able to speak to representatives from these universities about the courses available, the application process and university life.

Luned George, Senior Schools and Colleges Liaison Officer at UWTSD said:

"Having an opportunity to attend an event like this, with everything under one roof, is the perfect start for many pupils as they begin to look at their options after school.

It’s important that our students make informed choices at this crucial stage. This event on the 9th of April will offer students the ideal opportunity to find out what courses and options are on offer at different universities and colleges - institutions they could very well be studying at in the near future.  The event will also have inspirational talks, topical seminars, application process advice, and interactive stands.  It’s a fantastic event and will provide answers and information to those burning questions that you can’t always find an answer to on the internet!  We’re very much looking forward to welcoming everybody to UWTSD’s Carmarthen campus.”

UWTSD has been hosting this event for many years and thousands of students visit each year.  For further information about this year’s exhibition please visit: https://www.ucas.com/events/west-wales-higher-education-exhibition-339451
