The Qigong Centre is to be based at UWTSD’s Institute of Health and Management at its Swansea campus, and Jiangxi University have sent two of its postgraduate students from China to Swansea to help set up the Centre.

Professor Simon Haslett, Pro Vice-Chancellor (International and Enhancement) at UWTSD, visited the Qigong Centre as it is being prepared and met with the Jiangxi University students to welcome them to Swansea and to UWTSD.

“The establishment of the Centre represents an excellent addition for UWTSD in further developing its harmony, health, and well-being interests, and it is a great pleasure for me to welcome the Jiangxi University students to Wales” said Professor Haslett. “UWTSD greatly values its links with Chinese universities, and the new relationship with Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine is to be very much welcomed, especially within the context of UWTSD’s Global Education Strategy and the Wales Global Academy of international partners”.
