Here's a statement in response to the death of George Floyd.

UWTSD Statement

The University of Wales Trinity Saint David condemns racism and all forms of discriminatory behaviour.  UWTSD is committed to providing an inclusive learning and working environment, free from prejudice and discrimination in which all of our students and staff are able to flourish.

We strive to ensure that we provide an inclusive learning and working community which is free from discrimination, harassment and victimisation, and where all our staff and our learners are supported, feel respected and are empowered to realise their full potential.  We want our University community to feel safe and valued and it’s our vision to create a culture of openness and respect in which barriers for those with protected characteristics are identified and removed.

The University respects and understands the deep emotions and abhorrence the death of George Floyd has caused and stands in solidarity with our black students, staff and community.
