Swansea College of Art Summer Shows 2020

Challenging times inspire creative people to find innovative solutions; to explore the art of the possible.

For the students and staff at Swansea College of Art (UWTSD), the most significant consequence of the move to online learning, teaching, and assessment in the final term of the 2020 academic year was the cancellation of our planned summer graduation exhibitions. With the Covid lock-down in place the only option was to explore presentational possibilities, to develop collaborative platforms, and to create a relevant digital presence.

Despite the challenges of the past weeks our students have been highly innovative and shown an impressive enthusiasm to jump in, collaborate, create, design, make, and perform. This wonderful SCA showcase, which launches Friday, July 10, celebrates their fantastic achievements.

SCA Summer Show 2020 showcases work by students from: BA Architecture, BA Automotive & Transport Design, BA Computer Animation, BA Creative Advertising, BA Creative Music Technology, BA Film & TV, BA Fine Art, BA Games Design, BA Glass, BA Graphic Design, BA Illustration, BA Photography, BA Product Design, and BA Surface Pattern Design.
