The new bursaries include a fund to support Digital Connectivity and a new Taught Postgraduate Fee Reduction Bursary. The Taught Postgraduate Fee Reduction Bursary has been made available to UWTSD’s final year students and recent graduates who wish to continue with their studies on to a taught Postgraduate course. This new fund is being offered as a £3000 fee reduction bursary on any postgraduate course available across the University’s campuses.

The Digital Connectivity fund has also been introduced to help ensure that all students are able to access and fully participate in their course. Acting Director of Student Services, Rhys Dart commented:

“The University is delighted to announce a number of new bursaries for the 2020-21 academic year, including a new fund to support Digital Connectivity and a new Taught Postgraduate Fee Reduction Bursary for continuing students and recent graduates of up to £3,000.

As a student at UWTSD you can access a number of scholarships and bursaries to support your studies and enable you to make the most of your student experience. These new funds are the latest measure introduced by the University in a bid to help support our students during these challenging times.

We’ve also increased our investment in the University’s Student Hardship Fund to further support our most vulnerable students. It’s vital to help and support as many students as possible to overcome those hurdles that prevent them from studying and accessing courses.”

Whilst not a Bursary or a Scholarship, the University is also currently offering a Fee Reduction for International Students studying at undergraduate level with UWTSD, and wishing to progress onto a taught Postgraduate course.
