Business support and networking for graduate start-ups in Wales
23.06.2021
A virtual networking event jointly hosted by the University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) and the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) will take place on Wednesday, June 30.
Graduates starting up in business are often unaware of support which is available to help them establish and grow their businesses.
This event, which takes place from 9:30am until 11am, will outline some key support available to graduate start-ups in Wales and give participants the opportunity to network with others.
The event will allow start-ups to hear from support providers, including speakers from Business Wales, Big Ideas Wales, Prince’s Trust, FSB Wales, and UWTSD, as well as the entrepreneur experience from a successful young entrepreneur.
There will also be a Q&A session, and round robin networking with breakout rooms.
Dylan Williams-Evans, Enterprise Champion of UWTSD’s Institute for Sustainable Practice, Innovation, Research and Enterprise, said: “This is a wonderful opportunity for our students and graduates to access the support needed to successfully launch their business or freelance career.“If anyone is unable to attend the event then they may still be able to access a one-to-one meeting with me and I can help guide them to the right business support provider whether that be for advice, funding or mentoring.”
