This is a brand-new series of study at home online courses on exciting topics for Year 8 or Year 9 students to explore at leisure.
With materials selected and written by UWTSD lecturers each one of these short courses take about six weeks to complete with one hour of study per week. Students follow the course contents online, with safe links to further research materials, short video talks and interesting mini tasks. There is a final assignment for students to complete at the end of six weeks.
The courses are designed to provide an enjoyable, stress-free learning experience that gives a taste of university level work. We recommend students chose one course to follow and take the full six weeks to develop their knowledge and ideas.
These modules are designed to expand your skills and knowledge of the various courses available to you at university and prepare you for the world of higher education by introducing you to university-level work.
You will have the opportunity to attend pre-recorded lectures, expand your knowledge of the topics by researching the additional links provided, and complete a variety of tasks and assignments.
