Our activities are designed to inform and guide students through the application process and transition into Higher Education. We also support teachers and careers advisors as you guide students through the process.
All presentations and workshops are free of charge and can be tailored to suit specific requirements. We can offer a combination of topics at a date and time that suits you. All presentations and workshops are available in English, Welsh or bilingually. Please specify on booking.

This is a guide to all things finance to ensure students have a clear understanding of how to manage their finances on the lead up to starting University as well as budgeting and financial management during their studies. The session aims to prepare students on making what can be a difficult but a very important choice. The session will explore all aspects of University life with practical tips on what to look for at open days.

This is an interactive session. Packed with games and tasks, it will take students through what to expect at university. UWTSD Students Ambassadors will give an insight into what university life is really like and give advice on adjusting to life at university, meeting new people and managing financially. The purpose of the session is to make the transition easier and clear for students thinking of going to university.

This workshop will guide students through the UCAS application process and provide them with the tools needed to assist them as they start they journey to higher education. They will leave with the knowledge of the Who? What? Why and When? Including a jargon busting sessions of all key UCAS and higher education terms. All they need to ensure the application process and next step to higher education is a breeze.
