Construction challenges

Pupils work in teams to project plan, develop and test their ideas in response to a challenge set which is to create a structure that holds weight. Project planning and budgeting address skills that the 21st-century workplace requires. Pupils will use skills such as problem-solving, design, teamwork, communication as part of the session and will be given feedback and review and evaluate their own skills as part of this session. Content covers the vision for the future of UK engineering, studying and working within the sector.
