Engineering/technical: Started with vehicle engineering in Ford Motor Company , Moved to CAD/CAE which is now generically PLM (Product lifecycle management).  Strong interest in Manufacturing systems engineering and simulation techniques. 

Entrepreneur:  Involved in 5 start-ups far. 3 successful, 1 failure and one waiting!

Educator:  Specialist PLM training in companies plus many years lecturing in universities.

Modules taught: Manufacturing systems,  CAD/CAE, Engine design, Aerodynamics, Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Materials Science and processes, Study skills.

Supervision of projects at all undergraduate levels

Supervision of MBAs

Manufacturing systems and logistics.

Manufacturing simulation: Created Aliquis which is an easy to use generic simulation package.  This can be used for process improvement, capacity and reliability studies. 

CAD/CAM/CAE/PLM:  Rich background in these topics.  Particular interest in how these technologies are used in business to support engineering processes.

Started 3 successful consultancy companies in industry.
