I have more than 20 years’ experience in Higher Education in a teaching capacity and have lectured for the Open University Business School in the area of Leadership and Management.  I am an experienced online lecturer for the OU and has also taught at Swansea University and UWTSD in the Business and Computing Schools.

My background is consultancy and facilitation to the UK, and the Welsh Government in the areas of Leadership, Knowledge Management and Project Management. I provide a wealth of real-world experience to my lectures.  My work for the UK Government involved programme management experience at an all-Wales level.

My research interests mirror my teaching areas:

I have had the privilege of been an invited speaker at the House of Lords on educational topics, addressing a range of educational professionals.

My areas of professional expertise lie within the fields of Leadership and Management. I have experience in the design and facilitation of leadership and management development programmes and accreditation, in both the private and public sectors. 

I enjoy drawing upon innovative approaches to leadership development. I have worked with preferred training providers’ organisations to the UK Civil Service, designing and facilitating a range of leadership and management development programmes.

I have experience leading European funded projects, project and programme management. 

I have considerable consultancy and facilitation experience in organisational development, in particular in leadership and management, knowledge management, and project management.

I am an approved mental toughness practitioner and has security clearance for work with the UK and Welsh Government.
