Lecturer: Initial Teacher Education (Health and Wellbeing)
Background
I began my career at Ysgol y Wern, Cardiff before returning home to Ysgol Llangadog, a small countryside school at the foothill of the Black Mountain in the Towy Valley, a period of over twenty years in primary education. Teaching and learning, providing a wide variety of opportunities and experiences for all primary aged children as well as supporting teachers and staff at the school.
Recently I took a two year secondment with ERW as a Bro Dinefwr Cluster Leader of Learning where I was asked to raise the teaching and learning standards within the cluster as well as disseminating the latest information regarding the Curriculum for Wales and providing training on a variety of curricular topics.
