Michael spent 21 years in healthcare management in a variety of roles across the UK beginning as an NHS National Graduate Management Trainee before moving into the independent healthcare sector.  He has performed various Hospital Director roles across the UK, and was also Chief Executive of CS Healthcare, a mutual health insurer.  He has worked in the public, private and charitable sectors.

In 2011 he embarked on a change of career and joined SBS. He brings Board level experience and practical working knowledge of both strategic management and operations to his role as an educator.
