Interest in all aspects of Hotel Management, particularly with the developments in technological advances.

Previous research projects have included work on Children’s Rights in Wales and the Health and Wellbeing of young people and children.

Professional expertise include being a visible business leader and role modelling brilliant behaviours to create the conditions for success by empowering, coaching, recognising, rewarding and communicating effectively with direct reports and team members.

Attracting, recruiting, developing and retaining talent in all areas of the business was a key aspect of my previous roles.

Teamwork was at the heart of ensuring success. I ensured opportunities were maximised by setting stretching goals for managers and site teams whilst guiding and supporting them on their journeys, and helping them to work collaboratively.

It was of high importance to me that I consistently demonstrated guest obsession techniques, with the ability to anticipate guest needs and expectations to deliver the brand’s purpose and promise. Leading a guest-focused sales strategy, with a knowledge of the local marketplace, I was able to deliver strong revenue streams whilst demonstrating determination to maintain a competitive edge and outperform the competition.

These roles required a great deal of flexibility skill, having to adjust to hotel demand and different team demands.
