I have a diverse range of largely computing-oriented interests, including:
- Parallel, Distributed and High Performance Computing
- Programming and code optimisation
- Clustering
- Scientific computing
- Parallelism through threading, MPI and GPGPU, with a particular interest in dynamic growth and mixed-mode parallelism models
- Current research is focused on developing an optimal model for light-tissue interaction and thermal transport for arbitrary geometry
- Pedagogy, especially motivation and gamification theory
- Currently involved in research supervision for ASTUTE 2020
- Previously consulted on a HPC Wales grant
