Developing and Supporting Physical Development in Early Childhood Module (20 credits)

A smiling female teaching assistant leans down to talk to a group of junior-school-aged children.

This course develops an in-depth level of understanding of children's physical development through engagement with theory and literature to support application to practice.

Delivery of the training over a term allows time for application and reflection in practice.

Assessment through a reflective journal enables you to gain a deep insight into how this process impacts on your practice and children's outcomes.

Three face-to-face workshops across the term provide opportunities to work with leading experts to modify practice, addressing specific challenges arising from your settings.
