This module is designed to provide learners with knowledge and understanding of workplace coaching processes and practice. It will enable learners to design, plan and deliver workplace coaching programmes, and to improve the performance as a workplace coach.

This module will cover:

  • Benefits of workplace coaching to organisations, coachees and coaches
  • Responsibilities, characteristics and behaviours of effective workplace coaching
  • Learner needs and styles
  • Coaching styles and skills
  • Structured approaches to coaching
  • Case studies

This module is aimed at anybody who would like to become a work-based coach or introduce a coaching programme to their organisation.

There are no additional costs to this course.

You will be required to attend two teaching days at the Carmarthen campus. These days will provide you with a secure foundation to begin your study. Throughout this module you will be supported by a Tutor. This support can either be face-to-face, via telephone, e-mail or Skype - or a mix of all these.
