Daniel Davies, Yr Hen Printworks

My name is Daniel Davies. From 2018 to 2021 I studied in Hospitality and Catering in Coleg Ceredigion because of my passion for cooking. I realised after my first Front of House role that I loved the service and entered my first Front of House competition in Llandudno. I then won a gold medal at Skills Wales Competition in November 2020 and competed in the UK finals in Glasgow and won a silver medal. My latest success is being selected for the UK Squad to compete in Leon, 2024.

I am currently work at Yr Hen Printworks in Cardigan which is a tapas style restaurant working in both Front of House and kitchen. My motivation for working Front of House is knowing that I’ve made someone happy by catering to their needs.
