What to expect from an Open Day.

Open Days are an opportunity to explore our campuses, facilities and locations. You will get to meet and speak to current students and staff and get an idea of student life at UWTSD.  Our Open Days are structured days where you will get presentations about the University, talks about our courses, and find out from student services the variety of support services we have on offer when you are studying with us. 

Swansea Open Days

Our Swansea Campus offers a diverse range of courses, ranging from Engineering, Computing, Business, Health and Social Care, Teaching and a variety of art programmes which call Swansea College of Art home. With state-of-the-art facilities and industry-focused programmes, students gain practical skills and knowledge. The campus provides a supportive environment, preparing you for a successful career in your chosen field.

Carmarthen Open Days

Our Carmarthen Campus offers courses in Education, Sport, Performing Arts, and Humanities. Known for its close-knit and supportive community, the campus provides hands-on learning experiences in modern facilities. With a focus on creativity and career development, it’s an ideal environment for students passionate about teaching, the arts, and physical education.

Lampeter Open Days

Our Lampeter Campus is where it all began, and offers a unique academic environment, focusing on Humanities, Theology, and Social Sciences. Known for its rich history and intimate setting, it provides a supportive and close-knit community. With a strong emphasis on critical thinking and personalised learning, Lampeter is ideal for students passionate about exploring ideas and culture.

Cardiff Open Days

Our Cardiff Campus at Haywood House specialises in creative industries, offering courses in Music, Performance, and Dance. Located in the heart of the city, it provides students with access to industry professionals and real-world projects. The campus fosters creativity and innovation, preparing you for a dynamic career in the performing arts. Also available at this campus are a variety of flexible business and health and social care programmes ideal for students studying around work.

What to expect from an Open Evening.

Similar to an Open Day, our Open Evenings are an opportunities to explore our campuses and facilities. You will get to meet and speak to current students and staff and get an idea of student life at UWTSD. Our Open Evenings are more informal events where you will get the opportunity to have 1-to-1 conversations with your teaching team and student services and are ideal to explore our flexible and supportive approach to our courses, fitting around careers and family commitments. 

Swansea Open Evenings

At our Swansea Campus, you can choose from a wide range of courses, including Engineering, Computing, Business, Health and Social Care, Teaching, and a variety of arts programmes based within Swansea College of Art. With cutting-edge facilities and industry-relevant courses, you’ll acquire practical skills and knowledge, all within a supportive environment that helps you excel in your chosen career.

Lampeter Open Evenings

Lampeter Campus, offers a distinct academic atmosphere with a focus on Humanities, Theology, and Social Sciences. Celebrated for its historic charm and close community, the campus supports personalised learning. With a focus on critical thinking, Lampeter is perfect for those eager to explore culture, philosophy, and social inquiry.

Cardiff Open Evenings

Cardiff Campus, located at Haywood House, offers flexible business and health and social care programmes, ideal for balancing studies with work commitments. Additionally, it is our hub dedicated to the creative industries, providing courses in Music, Performance, and Dance. Situated in the vibrant city centre, it offers students opportunities to engage with industry professionals and participate in real-world projects.
