International Sports Management (Part-time) (BA Hons)
Our Sports Management programmes focus on the recent developments in the world of local, regional, and international sport. Over the past decade we have seen significant changes in the sector, including the wealth of the Premier League, the rise of the IPL (Indian Premier League) and increases in infrastructure developments from stadia to health clubs.
The Sports Management programmes provide you with a range of skills — coaching, instructing, mentoring, management and more — to help you pursue a wide range of careers.
The programmes require you to become an independent learner with the maturity to collect information, analyse content to understand the current environment and identify key recommendations for various stakeholders. These are fundamental characteristics for employment in the sector and are developed over the course of your studies, where a lecturerguided approach is implemented at Level 4 and a student-centred learning and teaching approach is adopted in later years.
Graduates of this programme have become involved in a plethora of regional and national sports organisations.
