The University of Wales Trinity Saint David’s (UWTSD) class of 2023 graduation ceremonies will continue at the Halliwell Centre on the University’s Carmarthen campus today (July 3).

The ceremonies provide an opportunity to celebrate their success and commitment, and to enable the University community to acknowledge their students’ achievements.

UWTSD’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Medwin Hughes, DL said: “The Graduation ceremony marks the climax in the academic career of our students.  It is the result of hard work and commitment, but we should also remember the support given by family and friends.

“Students will graduate with the skills and attributes they require to make a difference in their chosen career. I trust, as they look back at their time as a student at the University, that they take with them the many friendships and happy memories of our time here, and that their experiences at UWTSD will serve them well throughout their lives.

“I wish them success for their future and remind them that, as alumni of this University, we will endeavour to support them and hope that they will continue to stay in touch with us.”

There will be two days of ceremonies in Carmarthen this week (July 3 and 4).
