Our Facilities

Based on our waterfront campus our Creative Games Design and Animation & VFX degrees alongside specialised facilities, students have access to a comprehensive library and ample study spaces.

Our Creative Games Design programmes offer dedicated spaces with high-spec PC systems and industry-standard software like Unreal Engine 5, Substance Painter, Autodesk Maya, and ZBrush. Here, students delve into 3D environment design, visual scripting with Unreal Engine, character modelling, and texture creation, all while building personal portfolios.

Animation & VFX students in Swansea work with industry-leading software such as NUKE, Houdini 3D, MAYA, Adobe After Effects, and Substance Paint. They learn to transition from physical to digital lighting in Maya, creating 3D scenes using HDRI photogrammetry imaging. The programme also includes access to green screen facilities, DSLR cinema cameras, and sound equipment for field recording, ensuring comprehensive training in visual effects.
