Our Facilities

Our Facilities

Based on our waterfront campus, as a student studying on our electrical & electronic programmes you will have access to a number of specialist facilities allowing you to gain hands-on experience in designing, testing, and troubleshooting electronic circuits.

Cluster Facilities

Our specialist Electrical & Electronic Engineering facilities include:

Two Laboratories with Specialist Software: Including Proteus VSM, Easy PC design software, MATLAB, ANSYS HFSS, MPLAB, CCS PIC C compiler, Factory IO, Siemens TIA, LJ Create Virtual Instrument, and Pico-Scope capture

Specialist Equipment: including digital oscilloscopes, PC-based oscilloscopes (Pico-Scope), triple output power supplies, signal generators with advanced modulation functions, PIC microcontroller programmers, breadboards, and soldering facilities. Extensive component stores, Siemens S1200 PLCs  and HMIs

Each station in our electronics teaching facility is equipped with a digital oscilloscope, signal generator, multi-output power supply, and microcontroller programming interface to allow our students to perform practical exercises to support their learning with us.

Coupled with industry standard simulation and design software, our facilities give our students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in designing, testing, and troubleshooting electronic circuits, preparing them for real-world challenges in the field of electrical and electronic engineering.

Through guided experimentation and project-based learning, students can explore concepts such as waveform analysis, circuit prototyping, and embedded systems programming, fostering a deep understanding of theoretical principles and their practical applications. Our goal is to cultivate a learning environment that nurtures innovation and empowers students to become proficient problem-solvers and innovators in the dynamic field of electronics.
