What is your favourite thing about Swansea campus?
My favorite aspect of the campus is its vibrant and inclusive atmosphere. The beautiful surroundings, modern facilities, and diverse community foster a stimulating learning environment. The supportive faculty and welcoming student body create a sense of belonging, making it easy to thrive academically and socially. Additionally, the campus’s strategic location provides easy access to resources, cultural events, and recreational activities, enhancing the overall student experience. Overall, the dynamic energy and sense of community make studying here an enriching and memorable journey.
Why did you choose UWTSD?
I chose UWTSD primarily because several of my friends were already studying there, and their positive experiences influenced my decision. Additionally, I was drawn to the city itself, with its picturesque coastal location, abundant seagulls, and friendly locals. The vibrant atmosphere of the city, combined with the university’s reputation for fostering a supportive learning environment, made it an appealing choice for me. I believed that studying at UWTSD would not only provide me with quality education but also offer a rich and fulfilling living experience outside of academic pursuits.
What do you enjoy outside your studies?
Outside of my studies, I thoroughly enjoy engaging in volunteer work for charitable organizations. Contributing my design skills to create posters and manage social media content has been immensely fulfilling. At the same time as an international student, exploring different cultures through travel, immersing myself in nature through hiking, and experimenting with cooking new recipes also bring me great pleasure. These activities not only provide a break from academic pursuits but also foster personal growth and fulfillment.
What do you hope to do when you graduate?
Upon graduation, I hope to secure an internship in the field of graphic design or UX design during the summer to enhance my personal experience and resume. In September of this year, I will begin my graduate studies. I aim to gradually explore and delve into the area that truly resonates with me and pursue further specialization.
What is your favourite thing about your course?
My favourite aspect is the opportunity for trial and error, coupled with continuous encouragement. I’ve not only acquired knowledge in graphic design but also explored the essence of design thinking. The supportive faculty and access to cutting-edge design tools further enriched my learning journey, making each project an exciting and rewarding experience.
