Essential Letters

You can download important letters from your MyTSD account, including:

  • Bank letter to open a student bank account.
  • Council Tax exemption letter (This is available to all eligible full-time, enrolled students who are entitled to council tax exemption).

Registering with a GP

If you spend more weeks of the year at your university address than your family’s address, you need to register with a GP near your university. 

You can choose to register with any local GP.

  • Free access to Office 365 and Windows 10/11 (page is for students so not available to those pre-enrolment. However, more information can be found on student IT exclusives.

  • You can access over 400+ discounts online and in-store with TOTUM.

Wellbeing Support

University life is an amazing opportunity to learn new things and discover yourself, but it can come with some challenges. You may be coming to university with a diagnosed mental health condition or develop difficulties with your mental health or wellbeing whilst you are studying. 

Whether you are experiencing a short-term issue with stress, a longer lasting complex issue, or if you are struggling but are not sure what to do, then the Wellbeing Service is here to support you.
